The world of Laundromatica is a dystopian future where the climate has been destroyed and the city of Melbourne now experiences constant rain. The city and the lives of all its citizens are now under the rule of a mega corporation that owns and runs the laundromat terminals found throughout the city.
My Roles in the project:
- Producer
- Assistant / Acting Creative Director
- Artist: Modelling, texturing, Lightning and Post production (compositing, FX and colour grading).
I had creative input on all scenes.
The main scene I worked on is the City Scene, where a "Terminal" sits in an ominous square of apartments.

I developed the initial concept and was a major part in the visual development throughout the project, as I generated the Concept and Art Bibles and helped my team develop their assets.
My main 3D Asset was the Plant Tubes as seen in the breakdown video, Also the satellite dish and solar panels.

I decided to go with a design of an old car typical of a 90's pizza delivery vehicle (1985 Dodge Omni - seen in the movie "Home Alone") retro fitted with futuristic flying mechanisms (underneath)
